FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every dog and cat is an individual member of our pack, this means that each animal's needs are different and each owner's goals, style and wants are just as unique. training with us means gaining a pack for life. Our process: Step 1 - Paws & Plans Consultation Our initial consultation marks the first step in unlocking the unique dynamics between you and your dog. This personalized session is like a behavioral deep dive led by our seasoned trainers, where we decode your dog's individuality, quirks, and any behavior challenges they might face. Step 2 - Class Selection and Enrollment As every pack member is unique, owners can choose from various class options tailored to their dog's specific needs. These selections are made collaboratively, with the owner's input and guidance from the trainer. Step 3 - Attend your first session During a client's first training session, our focus is on building a solid foundation. We'll begin with a detailed discussion to understand your goals and your dog's unique needs. This session serves as a get-to-know-you, where we assess your dog's behavior, temperament, and current skill level. We'll introduce fundamental training principles and techniques, emphasizing all necessary areas of operant reinforcement. Expect hands-on demonstrations and guidance on establishing effective communication with your dog. By the end of the session, you'll leave with practical exercises to practice between sessions and a clearer roadmap for your training journey. Our goal is to ensure both you and your dog feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to embark on a successful training experience.
