Alex did an incredible job installing a new doorknob/lock on a 1930s door. It opens, closes, and locks better than it ever has since I purchased my home. He arrived on time (early actually), was very knowledgeable and professional, and completed the work quickly. Highly recommended!

I tried multiple locksmiths for my project - 2 never responded, 1 was a no-show (and cost me lost work-hours), and then Locksmith on Duty (LOD). LOD was by far the most responsive - they responded almost immediately after I put the request on Thumbtack. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and courteous. Alex was the assigned Locksmith and he called before he arrived, arrived within the designated window (which was a short 1-hr window), and worked efficiently to fix the locks - even though one of them was extremely rusted through (see photo). I would absolutely use LOD again for my locksmith needs!
