We had an excellent experience with Southern Maryland Custom Blinds. Throughout the whole process he showed a great deal of professionalism and patience as we had no idea about blinds as first time home owners. Every question we had was answered on the spot and he even offered suggestions that proved to be very helpful in our decision making process. As far as the installation process, he was very much punctial and completed the work within a short time. We plan on working with this company again for any future window treatment needs. We absolutely love our new blinds, they look fantastic!

We had a rather difficult skylight (uneven measurements, beam cutting across the middle) that we wanted covered with a retractable blackout shade. We knew we’d go with Southern Maryland Custom Blinds when Steve was the only pro of dozens who reached out to tell us that a motorized shade was not recommended for skylights. He then took the care to come and measure the skylight and figure out creative solutions when we found out that the window was built a little unevenly in the 1940s. The end result was spectacular and we would definitely work with Steve and this company again for further window treatments! There really is no window that they can’t help with - highly recommend and they’re very pleasant to work with!
