- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet poolside to go over the work and explain in detail what exactly the customer's looking to have done and then I try to set their expectations accordingly. I never promise a completion date. Weather and other things that are out of my control can throw a completion date off. I never push anyone to do someone else.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Almost all the certifications APSP has to offer and then some.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was asked to stay on after being a supervisor for 15 managed pools. The owner thought I had great work ethic and asked if I'd stay on to help renovate pools in the off season for a commercial pool. That was 35 yrs ago.
