The work quality was great. However, the amount per hour mentioned on Thumbtack is not exactly what would be charged. I had a small bumper plate stand that I needed to put together but I was asked 150 upfront which was negotiated to be a 100. I think the charges shouldn’t be too high for relatively smaller task like this. Otherwise Gomez was great.

Carlos has completed a number of project around my home from installing a water heater expander tank, putting in lines for a washer & dry, to mounting a large mirror, fixing a toilet leak, replacing my garbage disposal and more. He is very responsive when I contact him and he works to come out to address my issues at his earliest convenience. His prices are consistent and reasonable which I appreciate. I can always count on the job to be completed well and the area left cleaner than he found it. I would definitely recommend his handyman services and plan to continue to contact him for my future needs.

His main problem is communication because he doesn't undrestand English well so he can't undrestand what do you exactly want from him to do. I hired him to replace my microwave he did it looks good is working but the microwave getting extremely hot he put electric out let so I have to hire an electrician to check his job. He replaced one wood in my deck which was rotten and 4 top fence back yard wood it looks good but he supposed to wash clean and seal the fence which he simply washed it and didn't apply sealer at all instead he put stain and sealer in one which I bought for new woods and deck posts on some of the deck fence wood which you will see in photos how bad my fences look after he finished his job so he didn't paint deck posts which was bare wood of deck posts he didn't apply sealer on fences after wash my fences looks horrible I have to either hire some one else or apply sealer myself

She is a cheap person who wants to get work done for free, she makes you a deal for a type of work and the finished work increases and increases work for the pittance she wants to pay the contractor, she is in charge of buying some materials that are not equal to the previous how a work will look good and how you want a work to look good with new material with the old never. You suggest that she change the old for the new and in order not to spend, not to pay, she only repairs the old with the new, it will never remain the same. You finish working on all the unspoken extra and still she discounts you with lies. That lady does not pay for the work that she demands, it is cheap and poorly paid, she does not pay for your work and she wants excellent work and increases work if she does not tell you that she will pay you if you do not finish her work.
