- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the complexity of the project, I sometimes am able to provide pricing over the app. In other cases a site visit is needed to asses the work and time/materials needed to finish the project. I love meeting and helping people, that part is the most enjoyable to me. We are always fair and upfront when a scope changes and the price fluctuates. We never do addition work without having the customer fully understand the change prior to moving forward.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working right out of college for a security company, installing CCTV for businesses and homeowners. Eventually I ended up in the electrical trade, I was apprehensive at first, it was the unknown. However I needed something new to challange me. Since day one, I have loved it and never looked back.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with a wide variety of customers, from installing a new outlet, to large scale building electrical fit outs. With our background in security, Data center critical power, general electrical, generator installations and Solar, everyone at iES is trained and qualified to meet any electrical or security need.
