After conducting extensive research on various roofing companies, I found that this particular company stood out as the best choice in terms of both quality and price. From start to finish, our experience with them was exceptional. One of the key factors that impressed us was their attention to detail. During the assessment of our roof, it was determined that our Ridge Vent required an Intake Vent as well. Unlike other companies we considered, they not only identified this requirement but also provided the necessary Intake Vent without any additional cost. This level of thoroughness demonstrated their commitment to ensuring our roof had optimal ventilation, which is crucial for its longevity and performance. Moreover, their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in their generous plywood replacement policy. Unlike other companies, they went above and beyond by providing a significantly higher number of plywood replacements at no extra cost. We moved into an old house with a 20+ year old roof. When we found our first leak in the roof, Restoration Roofers were able to get out to our house and survey the damage within 24 hours. Then got us immediately on the schedule, within 2 weeks of their original visit. Outside of replacing the roof, they fixed the water damage inside the house, painted the bathroom, and patched the drywall around the skylights. The only issue we had was that our skylights were a unique size, so they went to every store around us to find the perfect ones in stock that would fit over the skylight holes. The team did an amazing job at being transparent on this issue and were quick to find a solution, they had the correct ones installed the next day. The communication, measurements, and repairs were absolutely perfect. To get an idea of what installation looks like, this is how it worked for us. First, our installation had a delay due to snow. So, on the first day, they dropped off the material only for the safety of the crew. On the second day, they replaced the roof shingles cleaned up all of the shingle debris, fixed the inside damages from the water, and painted the walls/ceiling. On the third day, a crew came back and installed the skylights, and did a full sweep of the yard for any nails (I still can’t find anything). Then on the fourth day, another crew came back to patch the drywall around the skylight that was damaged when one of the four old ones was removed. Jose and his team were always professional, and we cannot thank them enough. Already we are seeing our heating improve and be more consistent. We cannot recommend them enough.

WOW!! Let me repeat that in case you think you didn’t read that right - WOW!!! Here are a few adjectives I would use to describe Jose & Restoration Roofing - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy and truthful. Jose does what he says he will do & then goes the extra mile. His warranty is all the better because it comes from Certainteed. You see Jose & Restoration Roofing are Certainteed Select Shingle Master certified. Very few roofers have this warranty behind them! If only Jose did other work besides roofs! He’s the best contractor I’ve come across in this area bar none! If you need a roofer call Restoration Roofing Co. and tell them Simeon sent you!😉

We had time constraints for getting our roof replaced and Jose and his team were able to get it scheduled quickly. They were punctual on the installation date and got the job done with efficiency; they were done by mid afternoon and were communicative and courteous during the installation process. We had no surprises and the price was as quoted. They offered a more competitive quote than the other businesses we had inquired about the job.

BOTTOM LINE: Jose and his company Restoration Roofing are heroes to this military veteran family and restored a sense of pride and ownership in our home. We are a multi-generational family thrown together under one roof after COVID and still working to recover. When a spring storm damaged our home's aged roof to the point of indoor leaking, we were also in the middle of state-to-state moves to transition care for my elderly mother with Alzheimer's, preparing for the arrival of my second grandchild, and dealing with a multitude of other home maintenance and healthcare issues. A new roof at this point seemed impossible and one thing too many. As a disabled vet with fixed income and limited functioning, it seemed that the roof was literally going to come crashing down around us. I was at my wit's end when I found Jose on Thumbtack. Despite his excellent reviews, I had very low expectations based on our ongoing experience in dealing with contractors who were low-effort, unprofessional, or scammy. Our roof required full replacement that was fortunately covered by homeowner's insurance, however none of the contractors we contacted were willing to complete the work for the amount approved by our adjuster. They all cited inflation's impact on roofing materials and quoted 15-20% above the insurance adjuster's approved amount. The insurance adjuster was unwilling to reconsider based on their estimates, so we were at an impasse for over a month with a leaking roof. Jose listened with empathy and compassion as he assessed the embarrassing state of our roof and gutters. He arrived with branded information and explained Restoration Roofing's process, which includes the use of modern technology to make accurate measurements and share photos of work in progress. I was impressed with his transparency and professionalism but didn't believe I would be able to afford this level of quality and service. I actually cried when he stated that out of appreciation to veterans, his company would work with me and my insurance company to ensure we had a roof immediately. Jose was true to his word and his company arrived like the cavalry the very next week and we had a new roof within a matter days. His crew was professional and efficient, and I received real-time photos of the repairs. Most importantly, the quality of the work was unexpectedly pristine. Our roof feels like it was installed by detail-obsessed perfectionists and craftsmen. Also true to his word, Jose patiently dealt with the administrative bureaucracy between my insurance and mortgage company over the next several months to finally receive payment. It has only taken me months to write this review because I was at a loss for words at his continued kindness and patience throughout a frustrating and ongoing process. Jose's estimate was the only one my insurance adjuster would consider increasing the payout, and he worked with me on the balance due to ensure affordability. I never imagined how important a new roof would be to our lives. It completely changed the look of our house, and I watched in amazement over the following months as my daughter and son-in-law took on a new sense of pride and ownership in the house that was once the most unattractive and dilapidated on our end of the block. Our new roof inspired a chain-reaction of personal and environmental improvements that made our house feel more like a forever home, and just in time to welcome my new grandson. We were able to welcome him to a whole home, thanks to the angels that are Jose and Restoration Roofing. I will emphatically recommend and insist on them to family and friends and will use them again when it's time for a new roof. A company with these values and service will be around.
