Dave and Michael were terrific. When they came over to provide an estimate on extensive chimney (two) and fireplace repairs and some exterior brick restoration, Dave took about 15 minutes to find out what was wrong with another gas fireplace - he got it going right away without charge! They showed up on time and worked quickly for two straight days. Their price was competitive, and I would absolutely hire them again. It's worth noting that the three other chimney firms Thumbtack suggested... 1st one was an "LLC" but, like many other companies listed, wasn't registered as an LLC. 2nd one said they'd have to put scaffolding over my cedar shake roof to protect it (Dave and Mike didn't and it came out fine). 3rd one said he'd need to bring in a bucket truck to do the work. Just hire Santa And Claus and be done with it. (See before and after pics)
