Distinctive Vacations(DV) made my anniversary very special. I was booked at the Aria resort and casino in Las Vegas and it was a 5 star resort with so many amenities included...thanks all to Distinctive Vacations. My husband and I received so many free amenities by working with DV that we will never book with anyone else. She was very knowledgable on the resort and listened to my needs and I can say she exceeded all of my husband needs...he is very particular about hotels and he didn't have one complaint at all. He was blown away about the level of details DV provided...down to our special anniversary booklet. We had a special invited guest check in and was moved to a higher room floor so we could see the mountains upon sunset and sunrise. DV ensured we were treated very special for our anniversary. Upon check in they informed me that DV had been in touch with them again...to make sure everything was in order. We had a special turn down service and they even had jazz playing for us. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was working with such a professional who cares about everything and is only a call away if we needed her. I would suggest to everyone that if you want a hassle free vacation, someone who listens to what you want in a vacation and someone with extensive knowledge who can get you great amenities...please don't hesitate for a moment to book with Distinctive Vacations because I will again very soon! I recently had the pleasure of working with Arne’ while planning my anniversarycation to Mexico. Throughout the entire process she was available for any question and/or concern. She provided quick and thorough responses, even when she was vacationing. Arne’ is knowledgeable, efficient, and detail oriented. She is simply AMAZING at what she do. I have been blessed to have done quite a bit of traveling and have always preferred using a travel agent to assist with the planning of my vacations, as I find it to be so much more reassuring than going to sites such as: Expedia, BookIt, and TravelZoo, etc., I have NEVER received service like this and I know without a doubt that I can count on her and will use her for any future travel needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is individually based with considerations being taken as to the complexity of the itinerary being quoted. We normally provide 3 complimentary preliminary quotes to prospective clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the age of technology, I feel that the personal touch gets lost in cyber space. With that being said, I prefer to have a phone or in-person consultation with my prospective clients so that we can better determine whether we are a good fit for each other. One on one interactions build a strong foundation for myself and the consumer which aids in the building of trust and understanding. With investments such as a hard earned vacation, you deserve to know that your travel professional has your best interest at heart!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Distinctive Vacations is a proud affiliate of Palm Coast Travel which offers various continuing education on every aspect of travel on a daily basis! We attend webinars, familiarization trips and have a large travel support group which helps to ensure we are abreast of all things new with travel! We understand that we are in a world of technology and that GOOGLE could answer just about anything, however, we work to hard to educate ourselves and give our clients real world service and expertise!
