FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a flat rate pricing system which in most cases is best for the customer because even if the job takes a little longer than originally anticipated the rate typically doesn't increase. The only thing that could cause a cost increase is the need for material other than what was originally needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. I like to gather as much i formation as possible here through the messages. 2. If I still need further information I will come out for a free diagnostic visit. 3. I provide the customer with an online estimate for approval. 4. With simple repairs if the customer approves the estimate and I have the parts and or equipment I can get the job done the same day. 5. For larger more time consuming jobs or jobs where parts must be ordered I will schedule a return vist to complete the project as soon as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a union trained professional and a member of Washington DC's Plumbers Local #5. I have been extensively trained both in the classroom as well as in the field since 2007. I am constantly attending classes to stay abreast of the ever changing pipe trades field as well as local codes and regulations. I currently hold both Maryland & WSSC Plumber & Gasfitter Licenses. I am also working on obtaining my MD Home Improvement General Contractors License followed by a WSSC, MD, and VA Plumbers & Gasfitters Masters.
