FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am highly educated through non-traditional means. Through my time in the military I learned UNIX-based operating systems (this is experience with Mac/Linux) and Cisco's IOS operating system before attending the Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) and Computer Network Operator Qualification Course (CNOQC) along with several other more minor schools. JCAC equates to most credits on a Bachelor's of Science degree with CNOQC equating to half of a Master's degree.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I loved computers all my life. Installing games by the age of 3, before I could read what everything was about or understanding the concept of CD-Keys, I spent most of my life in front of a screen learning everything I could.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While volunteering, I've found myself working with everything from the timid who know more than they believe, to those that haven't the first clue whether they'll admit it or not. I don't believe in being impatient so much as being direct and truly enjoy leaving customers with more knowledge than they came in with.
