As the owner, I have over 30 years of experience and an extensive knowledge of horticulture. I have several licenses and certifications, including MD Licensed Tree Expert No. 982, pesticide applicator, fertilizer applicator, MNLA certified professional horticulturist, certified arborist, and MD licensed electrician for landscape lighting and irrigation systems. I enjoy creating beautiful landscapes and preserving trees. It is gratifying to solve problems and make clients happy. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no standard pricing. Minimum charge begins at $100 for most services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process starts with a phone call and then a meeting to discuss the clients ideas or needs. All evaluations, designs and proposals are provided in writing. Landscape design, irrigation and outdoor lighting are designed to include the clients ideas combined with my practical knowledge and experience to create an installation that is successful for many years. Plant Health Care for trees can be as simple as a proposal to spray a tree or trees one time. Also available is an annual program for trees and entire landscapes that includes routine pruning, insect and disease management, fertilization and other landscape services as requested.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the horticulture industry for over 30 years. My certifications and licenses include Certified Professional Horticulturist, Certified Arborist, MD Licensed Tree Expert, Licensed Pesticide Applicator and Business in MD and DE, and a limited Licensed Electrician for outdoor lighting and sprinkler systems.
