FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That’s very easy. when it comes to pricing, we set our price high, because we are not going to show up to your event with $100 worth of equipment. Djing is a very expensive business, and even though we may have insurance for our equipment, we still need to set the budget high because not everything is covered by insurance. For example, when it comes to our turntables, now every one of them is covered by insurance, so that’s why when we set our price, it allow us to at least cover if not fully, but at least a portion of whatever equipment that we are trying to ether replace or update.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has been my passion since I was a little boy.At the age of 16 or 17 I can’t fully remember but a friend of mine from my church, gifted me a very cheap but usable turntables (ion discover dj controller). My eyes lit up when I saw it, and it was at that moment that I was determined to follow my passion and become a DJ But unfortunately, just like everything else it wasn’t a easy road. I had no support for a long time, everything was expensive. I didn’t have a proper source of income to afford anything and on top of it all being Caribbean my parents did not support what I wanted to be. But regardless I never gave up. Fast-forward to 8 years ago When I decided that it was either now or never. I look at my wife and we spoke, and I decided that I’m going to take this full on. Here we are today.
