- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing system, which is usually discussed during our initial phone consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, I try and obtain as much information about the client's special occasion to ensure that I meet the clients expectations. In my eyes all my clients are celebrities and I feel that they should receive nothing less than a star studded experience! So after our phone consultation and we've agreed upon the services. I normally require a deposit of $25 to secure the clients appointment. This also guarantees that if services are not render due to unforeseen circumstances the client will be refunded their full deposit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout my makeup career, I've trained with some of the top leading celebrity makeup artist such as Kym Lee, Renny Vasquez and Sam Fine, and Danessa Myrick. I've worked as a makeup artist during Dc Fashion Week Cycle 24, The Golden Scissor Awards. I won Makeup Artist of the Year in 2016. I've worked on numerous photo shoots as well as worked with some of the best photographers in the DC metropolitan area such as Jonathan Martin, International Top Model, Vailhouse Photography, Curvaceous Photography, Jevon Michaels photography, Briscoe Photography, EyesofMichael Photography, JMaclin photography and many more. I've also had the pleasure to work various radio personalities such as Michele Wright from Majic 102.3 as well as Poet and Morning Show of WPGC 95.5. I've been published in Sophisticated Black Hair Magazine.
