A Fraud and an unlicensed handyman? When contacted, Ruben indicated that he has all his paperwork as a licenced master electrician with a lawful permit as I explained that the electric repair I needed requires a licensed electrician by the building management. He was supposed to check the work and send an estimate before any work could start but found a way to “force” the work immediately on the spot by providing reassurance that he had the required license and permit. . When I asked to see this prior to work, he said he this is not a problem and that he will have this by email. I trusted him and paid but then he disappeared and stopped responding. I am left with works that I cannot present to the building management; there is no invoice, hence he left no trace for reclamation nor even verification that he is indeed qualified for the works. This is electric repairs that needs a licensed electrician and not a handyman, which he seems to be instead. He lied to me, tricked me into accepting his amateur works for something that needs professional care. I’m afraid he is fraud and he stopped responding despite multiples texts and reminders since December. If we was legit, why not share the proof that he is licensed and with a permit? Why hasn’t he sent the bill for the works he did and which I paid? Watch out for this kind a fraud.
