I own a DIY craft boutique in Old Town, Alexandria and needed the fence door to my business repaired. I requested to have leaves removed from my property and bulbs planted. Time was taken to do a thorough job and make sure all leaves were cleaned up, bagged, and taken away. Also, 100 bulbs were planted around my property. The yard was very neat upon completion.

The contractor - Marlo - was pleasant, professional and very, very, efficient. I was particularly pleased that his leaf blower was the muffled kind that made a low rumble rather than that horrendous noise they usually make. An overall excellent experience!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in lawn care through a combination of personal interest and professional experience. I have always enjoyed spending time outdoors and working with plants and landscaping. As a homeowner, I took pride in maintaining my own lawn and garden, and I found that I had a knack for it. I decided to turn my passion for lawn care into a business and started offering my services to friends and neighbors. As my reputation grew, I began to take on more clients and expand my services. I also sought out training and certification in lawn care and landscaping to improve my skills and knowledge in the field.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent Lawn care project that I am fond of was completing a landscape project after a pool install of a client's lawn. It took about a month to complete the project, which included preparing the soil, landscape lighting, proper drainage systems, patio install, sod install, and ensuring proper watering and maintenance. The end result was a lush, green lawn and backyard oasis that the client was thrilled with. I enjoyed seeing the transformation and knowing that our hard work had paid off in creating a beautiful outdoor space for the client to enjoy.
