DFK Planning was founded with the belief that every event should be a memorable experience. The vision is to create unique and innovative events that exceed our clients' expectation and leave a lasting impression. In June 2011, I started planning my first event which was a wedding that took place in August 2012. From then on, I have planned milestone birthdays, fundraising galas, celebration galas, and weddings. As a result, my experience with different cultures is vast. I am familiar with Jewish, Ethiopian, Nigerian, and African American wedding customs just to name a few. I have planned/coordinated events in both common and unique venues such as community centers, country club, farms, hotels, art gallery, winery, backyards, waterfront, and restaurant buyouts. Aggie was wonderful to work with. She got to work with our vendors and coordinated all aspects of the wedding logistics. She helped to plan the moving the wedding party by boat. My pricing is based on several things and here are the few items that drive that particular price: the tasks that need to be performed, size of the event, and hours of service for example.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always prefer to start with a consultation call to get more details of the special day. once I am selected for the event our collaboration begins almost right away.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started planning events from 2011. I have an MBA.
