This company's work was exceptional from start to finish. Jon's estimate came fast and was thorough on building three large beds that were filled with weeds and had unkempt edging that ran the perimeter of 1/2 our house. He offered design ideas, found plant and mulch discounts, took care to guard against any foundation water leakage, problem-solved our yard in many other ways, and went the extra mile in every way. And his estimate for that work was not the lowest but not the highest by far. And the professionalism and end result was work every penny. He will continue to maintain our lawn and I look forward to the next major garden project with his company.

Jon was highly responsive, but only through email, which was an issue for me. But I understand that for his company, that’s easier to keep track of jobs. He was very quick to do the initial work. He used a third party to take down a massive tree (over 75ft.) and I did not care for the overall work that the other company did. They delayed the timing and moved it around with no notice (through email or otherwise) and I thought their pricing was a bit high and they did a terrible job with cleanup. I told Jon about this and hopefully he won’t use them in the future. However, Jon’s part was done efficiently and quickly and definitely to satisfaction! Tore down a deck for me, when no one else wanted to take it on, aside from other work that was all done well. I would recommend Jon and Potomac Lawn & Home for sure and will likely hire him again for future work.

The team was very responsive when I reached out and quick to come provide an estimate for a couple branches I needed removed. Once on-site to do the work, the team worked efficiently and did a great job! I also appreciate the professionalism in providing me the quote and following-up with the invoice. Will definitely keep them in mind for other projects!
