- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my editing, proofreading, and (the occasional) writing fees according to the number of pages and hours I spend on a project. I am happy to discuss fees once we have spoken and agree that there is an opportunity to pursue the desired outcome. I like to establish a personal connection before discussing pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
it is a simple 5-step process, We begin by getting to know each other, then discuss the project, the timeline and the budget, and if we agree, then we proceed!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learn every day how to be a more values-driven and principled person. Excellent communication takes a primary position in my professional toolbox. I listen to tapes, attend, seminar webinars and live sessions, and read several books per week on a large variety of topics, including but not limited to values, health, wellness, career, money, excellence in writing, relationships and spirituality. I am particularly fond of reading the memoirs of ordinary people who have achieved extraordinary success in life, especially those who have overcome extreme adversity. And, of course, I write and publish my own books!
