UPDATE: had a leak in wall along a BGE gas pipe. Service person came out weeks after original job and repaired the leak thoroughly. It's supposed to rain an inch tonight and I would bet 1000 dollars I have no leak. That is an excellent example of backing your guarantee. Thanks again Floodbusters.---------Work completed in 6 hours by very courteous employees, and after two storms dumping 2" or more, my drain and sump system plainly does its job. Service did not include putting appliances back into place, and reconnecting utility tub and washer, but it wasn't a problem for me.Flexible payment options. Price was a little higher than some others, but the materials FB uses are top-end and include cleanouts. Regular PVC pipe with drainage holes work 99% of the time, but when that unlikely clog happens you'll be glad you spent the money for cleanouts. And I can barely hear the sump pump when it kicks on.

Flood busters installed sump pump and pit on high side of basement. It doesn't work until it's 10 inches of water. Never offered to fix or even give estimate to move the pump only charge to clean it. I would never recommend them.

I have been dealing with Floodbusters for years. Very relilable and help me out all the time. Very friendly office personnel. They also honored their contracts and I have them come out every six months to clean the wells and make sure everything is working properly.

I called and scheduled four different waterproofing companies to evaluate my home. Though I regretfully do not remember his name, the person who presented to my home from Floodbusters was the ONLY one who really took the time to critically evaluate the situation, brainstorm possible causes for my problem, and offer suggestions for exploring/pursing solutions. He said his company could help fix the crack in a concrete wall but that I could probably have a masonry company do so for less money. Regarding my basement, he said he did not want to recommend any sort of water management solution or installation until the root issue of my problem could be further assessed, which would likely involve calling a plumber.I called a plumber. And you know what? Turns out I do not need to waterproof the basement. I just need to perform some plumbing maintenance.Thank you, Floodbusters, for your honesty and genuine consideration of a potential customer. I wish I could do more to support you.--For reference, the other three appointments went something like this:Two of them announced within 3 minutes of surveying my home that I needed a full water management system. This would cost anywhere from $7-14k to install. Installation would also mean ripping out the flooring of my finished bathroom and laundry areas, and tearing out the drywall. They won't fix any of that because because they "only do water management" and they obviously don't care to consider the added costs to repair the collateral damages once their work has been completed. The third said that he could repair the crack in my wall and install a sump pump for $5800 but drop it to $5k if I committed right then and there.
