FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Kitchens and Bathroom renovations are the largest investment you will make in your home. Typically, to get a good return on investment on a kitchen remodel it's suggested to spend 10-15% of the currently value or your home. A master bathroom can be 5-10% and a guest bathroom typically is around 5-8% of the value of your home. If you're unsure on your current home value we suggest checking Zillow or Redfin.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is different but typically we will perform a free site assessment. This includes 1 hour of measurements and discussion on design. From that we provide a labor estimate and a preliminary material estimate. [Customers purchase the majority of the materials and are responsible to get the final materials costs.] We provide one free estimate and plan revision as needed. Beyond that we collect a $500 retainer to continue revising the layouts and consulting on the project. This is refunded off of an installation agreement but not refunded if you choose to not go ahead. You can also purchase a copy of the measurements and plan with dimensions for $200 if you decide to use another contractor but like your designs.
