I can not thank you enough for your service! TRS Electric came through! Tyrell Smith, the owner and Master Electrician was a gem to work with. He was patient, empathetic and knowledgeable. When I contacted him and answered my stressful call, he was compassionate and eager to assist. He walked me through trying to explain my complicated issue and even allowed me to FaceTime and show him my problem. He even offered other solutions and qualified businesses if the issue was not resolved. Tyrell had a technician come out to evaluate the problem which turned out to be a VERY dangerous situation!! He advised the technician to shut off the power and he also came to fix this labor intensive job. It was a really cold day and they both worked through it as fast as possible to restore the power. After the work was complete, Tyrell explained and showed me all work that was performed and provided details and pictures of the before. I am truly grateful for his urgency and professionalism.

I needed some last minute electrical work during the week of Thanksgiving and despite Ty being extremely busy, he was able to not only fix the electrical issue but also install new fixtures making my space look even better. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 10% off the final labor cost for 1st Time Customers, Veterans, Senior Citizens, 1st Responders. It’s also best to bundle your electrical projects together for the best possible pricing. Doing this saves me a trip and keeps down the amount of trips the contractor has to be in your home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask several questions to make sure the customers have tried everything they could to solve their electrical issues prior to having me come out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 5 years of apprenticeship training. 2000+ hours of in-class instruction and over 14 years of on the job training. Passed my state of MD masters electrical license test. I’m currently licensed and insured in the state of MD.
