- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep fees affordable so people can get the help they need. If finances are an issue, please let me know - I'll work with you as best I can. Please note that we cannot bill insurance for marriage or relationship counseling - they tell us that they are only paying for medical issues, and they don't consider relationship problems to be a medical issue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's very easy to get started - let me know when you want to come in and I'll find you a time that works! I have very flexible scheduling, and along with a team of other therapists there is hardly a time slot we can't accommodate. When setting up a first session we take a payment at the time of booking in order to reserve the time. This payment is 100% refundable up to 24 hours before the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in social work and I participate in relevant continuing education on an ongoing basis.
