Coach T was so natural. He was so easy to follow and it felt like we had been dealing with him for ever even though this was our first session. Believe it or not my grandson was able to apply suggestions given at his most recent game. Grandson extremely happy and felt that session with Coach T was worth it. He understands that he has to stick with it and use this coach's suggestions. Athlete still needs work but the coach always asked how he felt about suggestions and never made it sound like why oh why do you play so bad (smile).

Coach Topp has recently been working with my son, a Senior playing basketball locally at ASHS, and in a short period of time has helped my son to shoot far more consistently. Coach Topp immediately recognized a couple of very subtle flaws in my son's shot, corrected them and has been able to reinforce proper technique through his many drills.
While my son has been fortunate to be coached by many excellent coaches over the years, Coach Topp specializes in shooting and was able to spend the time necessary to really analyze and correct his shot.
Even though we are in season, we still try to do a tune up session once in a while to reinforce proper techniques - both physical and mental.
I highly recommend Coach Topp. Our only regret is that we did not discover Coach Topp until August before Senior year. Better late than never...

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$50 per hour for one player. $30 per hour per player for a two-person session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a brief ball-handling warmup, I put the shooter about 8 or 9 feet from the hoop to shoot. I can determine the flaws in shooting form within 5 to 10 shots taken.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. and an M.A. in Physical Education. I have coached basketball teams in middle school, high school, community college and semi-pro. I teach elementary Physical Education, so my experience spans a wide age range.
