FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With a Public Adjuster, there are no fees or upfront costs until we receive an agreed settlement from the insurance company. We charge up to 10% of the claim which is regulated by the Division of Insurance. We believe everyone should have quality representation. That’s why we work on a contingency-fee basis, which means you only pay us when all parties are made whole. Please reach out for a risk free inspection & consultation
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we find out the details of the loss and determine if it's a covered claim with the insurance company. From there we will schedule a time with insured to inspect the damages. If hired, we will file the claim and meet with the insurance company's representative to determine a scope of work and/or a plan of action. Once the insurance company accepts liability we will start putting a together a detailed estimate of both the building & contents damages for negotiating purposes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Public Adjusters must be licensed by each state they work in after passing a strict examination administered by the Division of Insurance. The exam requires a comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, first party claims procedures and construction costs. To maintain a Public Adjuster license the state requires 15-hours of approved continuing education credits for every 3-year term.
