Nilza was awesome! Her work results are thoughtful, knowledgeable and experienced. She unpacked and organized my kitchen and really saved me the mental and physical stress that packing and unpacking can cause when moving. I really thought I was going to have to purge and edit even more than I already had but Nilza found a logical and appropriate location for everything. I will use her again in a few weeks to help me organize my home office/den. She was more than worth the investment!!!!

I’ve lived in my home for 21 years. Over time my basement became a dumping ground of each year we grew as a family. The past couple of years every time I went to do laundry it was like a maze of piled high containers and boxes, etc. I got so stressed and felt intimidated to clean it up. My husband and son just wanted everything thrown away in a rented junk bin at the side of our house. I knew there was so much down there that could be given away or just organized better. At the end of 2023 I asked my husband to gift me a special Christmas, birthday, Valentine’s Day and Anniversary gift. I wanted to hire a professional organizer. I joined Thumbtack and saw Nilza’s friendly smiling face, read her bio and selected her to reach out to help. She has been fantastic at helping get my basement back under control. She is very easy to work with. She opens everything and discusses with me what I want to do with any items we come across. Whether to keep, donate or throw away. She knows her stuff and just goes and goes like the energizer bunny. Cleaning, decision making and organizing with her is like working with a friend. She’s had several visits and each one has been like more of a weight is being lifted off me. I’m seeing my basement evolving into the way it’s meant to be. No more stressing or fear going into the basement any longer, thanks to her guidance, strong work ethics and comfortable friend camaraderie. My family had an amazing experience working with Nilza. She was always quick to respond, and set up a time to look at our space soon after contacting her. We felt that Nilza took the time to listen to us, and to our concerns, and was able to help us navigate a complicated home organizing project step by step. Nilza takes care to organize the project and advise us on future actions, though never pressured us to do anything (like throw things away) when we weren't quite ready.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My sessions last for 4 hours. If you need less than that, price will be according to the distance between where I am and the place I will drive . FROM NOVEMBER 2023 - When a client hires me I am going to ask for a $50 (non refundable) if the client cancels. Of course this amount will be put down when you have the service done. This deposit is for me to lock that time for the clients. Some clients schedule and all of nowhere they cancel one day before the service is scheduled.
