- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the menu items selected and the level of service you choose for your event. We offer flexible options to suit a variety of event styles and budgets, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. ✨ Full-Service Catering (Per Person Option) – This package includes on-site staff, setup and cleanup, professional buffet or plated presentation, and all serving equipment needed for a seamless guest experience. 📦 Drop-Off Only – Perfect for more casual events, we’ll prepare and deliver your food fresh, packaged for easy handling. 📐 Drop-Off with Setup – In addition to delivery, we’ll set up your food table with warmers and serving accessories, ensuring everything is beautifully arranged before we depart. Additional charges may apply based on guest count, travel distance, presentation requests, or specialty services. All costs are clearly documented so you always know exactly what you're paying for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Best of Both Worlds Cuisine, we believe every event deserves exceptional food, thoughtful presentation, and a seamless guest experience. Our catering process is designed to make planning easy while ensuring every detail is carefully considered. Based on the needs of your event, we will provide the appropriate service request form to begin the process—whether you're planning a full-service event, drop-off catering, or a more customized dining experience. Once your form is submitted, we schedule a consultation to discuss your event in more detail. During this conversation, we review your guest count, menu preferences, venue logistics, event timeline, and any special requests to ensure we create the right experience for you and your guests. After finalizing the details, you will receive a customized quote outlining the menu, services, staffing (if applicable), and all associated costs. To officially secure your event date, a non-refundable retainer is required. The remaining balance will be due prior to the event according to the payment schedule outlined in your invoice or service agreement. We offer several catering service options to accommodate different event styles: Drop-Off Catering Our team prepares and delivers your food fresh and ready to serve in disposable catering pans. The client is responsible for food setup and service. Drop-Off with Setup We deliver the food and professionally arrange the buffet table so everything is beautifully presented and ready for guests before departing. Remain-On-Site Catering Our team stays onsite to monitor the food, maintain presentation, assist guests, and ensure the buffet remains fully stocked throughout the event. This option includes the use of our professional catering equipment to keep food warm and properly displayed. Full-Service Catering For clients seeking a complete dining experience, our full-service option includes staffing, food service, buffet or plated dinner management, and end-of-service cleanup support to ensure a smooth and elevated event experience. No matter which service option you select, our goal is to deliver bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and a memorable culinary experience for you and your guests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took culinary classes in High School/College and have years of hands-on experience running a catering business specializing in Haitian and Jamaican cuisine. My expertise comes from both formal training and a deep-rooted passion for cooking and hospitality.
