FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can expect to get professional service at reasonable fees. Most projects are billed at an hourly rate of $75-$100 depending on the size of the project. I do not charge travel fees within MA, nor do I hide any fees. You will pay full retail price on any non-service products, unless there's a designer discount which will be passed along to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we'll do is get me to your home where I'll ask a lot of questions and photograph, measure and assess the scope of the project. A plan of action will be made to include your time table, budget and style needs. I will always try to minimize your stress with decisions, asking for approval and reasonable deposits. Communication will be consistent via phone, email and/or text.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in both Textiles ( 1977) and Interior Design (1994). I also passed the professional 2-day exam for ID, the NCIDQ (2004).
