I have one 1 star review. Please ignore that. It was from a prospective client who asked me for a discount right off the bat. I told her that I generally don't give discounts. She repeatedly asked me for a discount. I told her to keep asking was very disrespectful. Because I didn't give her a discount, she got mad and left a poor review. I was extremely respectful during our conversation. Thank you for understanding.
My work stands out because I am very good at what I do. I make great connections and lasting memories. From time to time, I get people coming up to me telling me about something I showed them years ago when performing magic. Those are great moments. To be remembered like that is such an honor. Doing street magic is a great way to hone your skills and be a testing ground for new tricks, as well as an immense amount of practice time.
I am also a balloon twister. Creating something out of nothing is imaginative and fun. I love watching things take shape as I'm twisting the balloons.
Another thing I do is officiate wedding ceremonies. When working with a couple, I take the time to ensure that the ceremony is exactly how they want it to go. Do you want to go with doing your own vows, traditional or non-traditional? I can help you figure it out if needed.
I try to be very easy to work with. After all, who wants to work with a headache, right? My work ethic is very strong. If I were to hire someone to entertain at one of my events, I would expect certain things out of them. To be good at what they do, to be entertaining, and to be worth what I paid, just to name a few. I do my best to give you everything that I would expect and more. That is why my work stands out. There is a reason almost all of my reviews are 5 stars.
What I love about my job is everything. You get to learn things that are not known to the general public when it comes to the art of magic. The reactions I get from people while performing are priceless. I love bringing back that sense of wonder to the audience. I do street magic in Northampton, MA. I love doing street magic for a few reasons. A couple of them are when someone comes up to me and mentions a trick I showed them years back, in full detail. Another great one is when someone told me, "My kids saw you last night. They made me buy some spongeballs, and they spent the night and today pretending they were you. " Doesn't get much better than that. Doing "tricks" is only part of being a magician. The greater part and the real magic are in connecting with people and making memories.
Along the line of creating connections and making memories is officiating weddings. I am honored that people choose me to help make their special day even more special. I take that job very seriously.
