After working with Maureen, I didn’t just gain an organized home, I gained an education. I learned how to organize better on my own, and keep our place that way. During the time we worked together, I didn’t feel pressured to throw too much away, but empowered to let things go knowing that they will be useful to someone somewhere else, recycled, or that I simply didn’t need all of the things—in other words, there is freedom in letting go. I've had the pleasure of working with Maureen over the last six weeks, and she has truly transformed my home! We've tackled the basement, office, bathroom, and laundry area, and now each space has a clear purpose and is beautifully organized with labels. Next on our list is the kitchen, and I can't wait to see what magic she'll work there. Maureen's tips have been incredibly helpful, and I'm finding that I'm able to apply them to other areas of my house as well. The biggest lesson I learned was that I didn’t need to keep buying more organizing materials—I just needed to hire Maureen! Her guidance and expertise have been game-changers for my home.

Maureen, the Organizing Diva, saved my sanity when, at the age of 80, I decided to move cross country from Boston to Los Angeles to be closer to my adult children and grandchildren. The task was formidable, given it meant going through a lifetime of manuscripts, journals, tchotchkes, art materials, clothing, and books. Not only did she patiently help me examine every piece of my “stuff,” she also helped me leave my Boston condo in a tastefully furnished, rentable condition. Together, we determined what to send, what to sell, what to save, what to release, and what to donate. Maureen offered moral support as I navigated through my possessions and the emotions of such an important life decision. Avoiding landfills, she found new homes for so many items, carting off a carload of donations at the end of each of her three-hour sessions that would leave me feeling lighter and more ready to stay on track. As I unpacked the last box this morning while building my new nest, it was clear that I could never have achieved this without her caring and professional help.

I hired Maureen to help me clean out my basement. Over the years, I had accumulated a mountain of random clutter down there, and the idea of dealing with it was completely overwhelming for me. I didn’t even know where to start! Maureen was an amazing help. She came to my house, ready to work, and she worked HARD. She was like a whirlwind! Soon we had piles of trash, piles of things to donate, and piles of things to keep that were all sorted out. She cleaned my shelves, which were dirty and gross, and then we put the things I was keeping back on the shelves, all organized into neat little bins. She even took all the stuff I had to donate, and said she’d take care of it. It was like a miracle! The three hours she was here were super intense, and I was exhausted by the time she left, but it was all worth it. It was worth every penny too, and I thought her rates were pretty reasonable. It is such a joy now when I go down to the basement and see everything so neat and organized. It was like a huge pile of stress was removed from my life. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
