Introduction

I'm a professional pianist, singer, saxophonist and entertainer in Boston. I'm a former software engineer with a BS from MIT and a minor in music. I specialize in jazz, pop, rock, covers, and showtunes. I'm particularly passionate about tuning pianos. I have a sensitive ear and near-perfect pitch. My tuning technique is self-taught, and I take great pride in restoring the tone of beautifully-crafted instruments.

We hired Max for a holiday caroling party and wound up having him tune our piano beforehand as well. Max was on time, professional and very skilled! Our piano sounds great and our friends had a great time at the party! We would definitely hire him again.

Max was the BEST! We recently bought a house that came with a piano and we knew nothing about pianos. Max was quick to respond and was very flexible on schedule. He not only tuned our piano but also educated us on how to care for, clean, cover and maintain our new piano. After Max was done our piano sounded amazing and we can’t say enough for his great service! We will be using him again and will highly recommend Max!
