- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150/hr with a minimum of 1 hour. Depending on the type of project I can often give you a quote in advance. My aim is always to maximize your budget to get the absolute most for your money!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with a conversation. I look to establish what issues need to be resolved and what additional goals my clients may have. With many projects I can then offer one or more options to proceed based on budget, timing, and other factors. Some jobs are simple "time & materials" but often I can produce a proposal so you know what you're paying and what you're getting up front.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm certified with a variety of manufacturers across AV, Automation, & Networking including Lutron, Control4, Bang & Olufsen, Pakedge, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, and more. I've worked professionally in the field for about 20 years and have always managed private clients on the side who have either smaller scale or more personal needs than a corporate integrator can offer.
