The finished rooms in my basement were poorly constructed and something out of the seventies. I made the mistake of thinking I could fix them myself and realized I needed a pro once I took the rooms apart. Jakub’s carpentry skills are excellent. I really appreciated his perfectionism, the pride he takes in leaving his workspace tidy at the end of the day as the project processed. He framed and insulated the walls, installed new doors, and when I chickened out, installed the door and window trim. He replaced the stairs and railing that were also poorly constructed, including a custom-made newel post. He subcontracted the drywall/plaster and electrical work. The rooms look nicer than the renovated rooms on the first floor of my house. I plan to hire him to replace my front door in the near future.

Couldn’t recommend Jakub enough. We wanted to refresh our stairs and Jakub had the experience and knowledge to accurately scope the project and gave us all the options along the way to give us exactly what we were looking for. The finished carpentry work is incredible. We replaced the treads, handrails, balusters and posts. Jakub was professional, punctual and clean throughout the entire process.
