We had an extensive project on a 90 year old house requiring the removal of an old cement tile roof, repairs to the roof deck, and installation of a new slate roof complete with snow fencing and snow clips. We got quotes from 4 companies for the work, and decided to go with Robert. His quote was not the least expensive, however it was competitive. In the quoting process, what stood out most is that Robert took the time to patiently and thoroughly answer all of our questions about the slate roof that we wanted. He did not make us feel like our questions were stupid, and did not mind being questioned about how he was going to do various aspects of the job. Where there were choices, he gave sound advice which took into consideration our tastes, the roof type, and the climate. We are the acting general contractors on the job site, and so we were there every single day that Robert and his crew worked. Here are some comments on their manner of working during the job: -working with them was an absolute pleasure -all 5 of his crew worked as a team -helpful and courteous -always cleaned up after themselves -if they ran into an issue they would bring it to you and explain the issue and what they recommended doing -very accommodating in terms of other things that needed to happen around having the roof redone, for instance the masonry and soffit/facia work -excellent worksmanship We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert Pierce to anyone looking to have their roof done. He is absolutely first rate.

I am a general contractor in bosron.Mr.icemans workmanship is top notch.They finish projects on time and their pricing is fair.since 2004 I haven't used another roofer.I highly recommend Mr.Iceman, he is the guy they call in when others fail

Mr. Iceman Co. Roofing installs residential roofs: shingle, EPDM (rubber) & slate. All of our shingle roofs include removal of the existing shingles, repairing the sheathing, installing Ice & Water Shield on the entire roof, installing GAF Lifetime Shingles (hand-nailed) & a ridge vent. All of our EPDM (rubber) roofs are installed to the manufacturers' specifications, allowing Mr. Iceman Co. Roofing to offer their best warranty term (40 years). We install slate & artificial slate roofs. Mr. Iceman Co. Roofing also provides slate roof repairs. We fabricate & install hand-rolled copper gutters & downspouts.
