I would give Edson Lacerda ten stars if I could! For some reason Thumbtack only lets you pick three out of five qualities to rate your contractor. Edson demonstrates ALL five: professionalism, value, work quality, responsiveness, and punctuality! Edson installed two new entryway exterior doors and two new storm doors at our house in April, 2024. He came quickly to view the project and gave us a very fair and reasonable estimate. We have an older home, built on 1968 and Edson dealt with all of the unpredictabilities that come with older construction to remove the old doors and install the new doors. Edson’s work is neat, meticulous, and his carpentry skills are outstanding! He was professional and courteous throughout the entire project. We will definitely use Edson again for future projects.

Edson is a true professional with a phenomenal work ethic, a focus on quality, and pride in the work that he does. He repaired a very old exterior wooden door that might have been scrapped otherwise. The door wouldn't close, the lock mechanism barely had anything left to secure it, and he figured out a solution that enabled us to keep a piece of a 100+ year old home that would have been difficult (and expensive) to replicate or replace. He was extremely responsive throughout from start to finish. Work with him!

Edson did an amazing job! He came out quick to provide an estimate. After I got his estimate, I think I went to the bottom of his list and worked my way up. That was cool cause I wasn't in a hurry. His communication was A+. Edson as a person and worker are top notch. He replaced a small deck and installed some finish molding in my bathroom. Everything was done professionally and on budget. Very happy with everything and will contact him again for future jobs. Highly recommend!!

Thank you , thank you, thank you for replacing my storm door,but also fixing EVERYTHING around it ,and making it look and feel as if I am in a brand new apartment. I need thumbtack to have an option to leave 10 ⭐ review because Edson definitely should get 10 not just 5 ⭐ for this job. I have been trying to fix this door for the last 3 years , unsuccessfully, I honestly never thought I could find someone to actually do it correctly,I was wrong!!! Thank you for the incredible work , impeccable craftsmanship and patience to talk me through the entire process ,as well as to teach me a thing or two about doors,bolts ,nails ... etc I am adding before and after photos, because he did some magic on that door and the door frame ,they were really in rough shape. Thank you so much !!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EDSON!!!
