I have an MBA in accounting and tax.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed using my expertise to assist the small business client to free up their time to build the businesses they work so hard for. Although I worked for many years in a large corporate environment, the draw of working with the entrepreneurial spirit always drew me back into the field. Now on my own I have the flexibility to give each customer the individual attention they deserve.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
For over 30 years, I have worked with individuals, contractors, and various small businesses handling all accounting/tax functions for them. Job costing. Payroll. Collecting on account receivables. Paying bills on time, Assuring accurate financials statements monthly so businesses can assess what is going right or what areas need improvement. Preparing tax returns. Without accurate reporting, there may be missed opportunities for growth.
