Introduction
I have been teaching self-defense, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Yoga for over a decade, and run a martial arts gym in Boston. I am a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, have also trained Kickboxing extensively, and have completed a 200 hour Yoga teaching certification. As a professional, passionate, and dedicated instructor, I am excited to work with you in a private or group setting to:
-Develop practical self-defense techniques
-Learn the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
-Practice vinyasa Yoga
-Get in shape using Kickboxing and martial arts, as well as calisthenics
Please note, I only do 1:1 sessions for women.

Alexandra Fuller has run several women's self defense classes for our martial arts gym. It's an awesome experience every time. Our students always come away from the workshops with new skills and confidence. I've had dozens of students tell me how much they enjoy Ali's classes. I love Ali's women's Jiu Jitsu classes. Ali is a delightful instructor, aside from her overall genius as the founder and director of Level Ground martial arts. She fosters a positive and psychologically safe learning space for all and exemplifies all the values through her instructor style. Ali creatively makes her classes fun and challenging for all levels, both physically and technically. I especially appreciate how she helps her students understand important technical details for successful execution of technique that often get lost and as a practitioner she is always purposeful about why she is making the choices she is making when executing her technique, which demonstrates her high level strategic thinking in a fast paced martial art. She always puts me on to additional details that have tightened up my game.
