As a single mom of a high school sophomore striving to improve his grades in ELA, finding the right support has been a challenge—until we discovered Peak Literacy Tutoring. The remote tutoring sessions have been a game-changer for us. My son, who attends public school in Danvers, has always been bright, but he needed that extra push to truly excel this year since we switched school districts after recently moving towns. Since starting with Peak Literacy, my son is more engaged in reading assignments, reading in his free time, and actively applies the strategies his tutor discusses with him in sessions to his school work. The best part is the convenience for us. I don’t have to worry about driving to a location or adjusting my work schedules, my son’s after school schedule, or our busy lives. The sessions are perfectly tailored to his needs and have helped him not only with ELA but with building confidence and learning skills he can use in other subjects.
