After the first trial lesson, I knew right away that I wanted Laura to be my violin instructor. She knows the answer to every single one of my questions and doubts. She's knowledgeable and can recognize what pace you learn at and adjust and personalize your lessons. Super sweet!

Laura has been my 6yr old son's violin teacher for a bit more than a year now.
My son would not miss one single lesson and would do everything to attend Laura's class. She is the kindest and most encouraging, supportive and understanding teacher I have ever met. She has adapted to the way our son is learning how to play the violin and I could not thank her more for that. It encourages him to do better every time we meet, and to practice at home to make sure he has a "new piece" or a "more polished" performance to show Laura every time.
She always makes sure the student understands the discipline required by the instrument but also always makes sure that the student has great pleasure playing his piece.
She has given us advice on Master classes or string events that she thought our child could participate in, and every time it has been a wonderful experience. Her suggestions are always great.
Finally, her love for music and teaching is contagious, we are blessed to have found such a great violin teacher!

At over 60, taking violinlessons for the first time could have been painful. Laura makes sure that it isn't. I love learning from her. She is a gifted teacher and talented musician who knows how to adjust lessons to the individual student and encourage without lecturing. I highly recommmend her for either performance or instruction...for any aged student!
