D&A did a $600 repair of a roughly 6x6 cracked up section of my asphalt driveway Indicated that hot tar would be used but it was not. Spoke about 4 year warranty but did not reply when I asked for it in writing after the fact. As far as I can tell the work is reasonable or one or two people suggested at the tar to send a hold up but only time will tell. They were prompt and curteous and completed the job.

Unfortunately our experience with D&A started out positively and ended poorly. Dave's responsiveness was great at first and they came out and did some crack repair and even offered to fill in cracks (for an additional cost). When they finished the job and asked me to check the job I came outside and saw that there were spots that didn't have good coverage and cracks that were filled but had already sunk through. To Dave's credit, they went through and refilled/re-covered those areas I pointed out but this resulted in a dalmation-type patchwork of seal coat through our entire driveway. The next couple days after it dried, I noticed there were multiple spots that were missed so I reached out to Dave. He offered to come back and re-coat the driveway to solve the spotty-ness and missed spots in the next season.
I followed up in November (no response) and February (a response that said he thought someone had come out but they hadn't). I followed up again in April (Dave said he was having a hard time getting material) and then I followed up again in May (same problem with getting material). Since then I've followed up in June, July and August and each time I got no response but I have seen reviews from others who have used D&A in the meantime so it sounds like they have material now.
All this being said, the material they used to fill in the cracks has already failed in every spot (which I paid $1-2k for them to fill). All said, I've spent thousands of dollars on a poor sealcoat job and crack filling that has almost entirely failed and when trying to get support from Dave I'm being totally ghosted. Not the way that I'd like for this work to have ended but I hope that this feedback helps Dave to provide more reliable service and helps his potential customers to hold him accountable to a higher standard of service.
