FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A quick 2-3 minute phone call or even a few short text messages is all we need to get started. We welcome any questions and enjoy getting to know our customer so there's certainly no restrictions when you call but we understand that most people want to get answers quickly and promptly. Most of the time we are able to give you a quote right then based on the square footage of the property but sometimes we require an on site estimate for accurate pricing. Either way an appointment can be set up within minutes. An experienced tech will arrive on time the day of the appointment to complete the scheduled service for that day. He/she will always have any and all relevant documents and paperwork for you the day of the appointment (paperless options are available). The tech will also be following all of our Covid guidelines to ensure the safety of both parties. Upon completion of the work we present you with a service report that describes materials that were used on your property as required by state law. You will also receive an invoice at which time your payment will be due. All payments for new customers are required at the time of the service. All services come with a warranty that can range from a few months to a few years depending on the type of pest and condition of the structure. Under your warranty we will return to the job site as many times as necessary until the pest problem is solved within the time frame of the warranty. Warranty work is free of charge.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Bayler Pest has worked with just about any type of customer you could think of to provide solutions for countless pests and pest problems. We work with everyone from home owners to property managers, from realty companies and commercial accounts (restaurants, gas stations, etc) to tenants, and everything in between.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently we did a squirrel job for a customer in Maynard. They were having a problem with a few squirrels that had entered into the attic space above an addition off the back of the house. The tricky part was that we had no access into the attic to set traps. In this case we had to hand build and install a few one-way doors over the areas that we suspected they were entering and seal off all other openings. When we checked in with the tenant just 7 days later they reported that all noises and problems were now gone. At that point we removed the one way doors and sealed those areas with metal screening. You can find pictures from this job attached to our profile. It was actually a fun job that had great results in very little time. To see the excitement from the tenant when she knew her problem was solved is why we continue to do what we do.
