We decided that we were willing to "be the change we wanted to see" and started Cadence of Grace. For longer than we can remember we have been a part of making love stories possible! After 15+ years of being involved in weddings in other capacities (i.e planner, officiant, decorator and pre-marital counselor), we found a passion for being behind the camera and delivering beautiful images that capture moments that would otherwise be lost to time! Our Mission It is our aim to serve our clients to the best of our ability! We feel like your photographer should be someone you would WANT at your wedding. There are truly no words to describe how incredibly talented Jake, Kristin, and their team are. Not only have they captured our special day in the most PERFECT and stunning way, but they were so FUN and easy to work with on such a busy day. They kept pictures flowing, ensuring to capture all the important shots we asked for, while also taking the time to document candid moments, like our flower girl frolicking around in a field, guests crying during our vows, parents sharing special glances, and everyone breaking it down on the dance floor (and much more). We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives, and for that we cannot thank Cadence of Grace enough. We attached some pictures to this review, but it was so difficult to choose just a few - we love them ALL (close to 200 of them). We are equally in love with our wedding video; it made us cry as we relived our favorite day. Do not hesitate to book Jake and Kristin. They are incredible at what they do, transparent about pricing, and easy to communicate with. Working them was a breeze and a pleasure, and we could not be happier with the results. Jake, Kristen, and our videographer Alex were absolutely perfect on our wedding day. Jake's incredible talent for taking control in an effective and soothing manner was evident from the start. With a clear vision and unwavering dedication, he constantly checked in to ensure everything met our needs. The team arrived early at our venue, a place they had never been before, and scoped out the grounds, coming up with incredible ideas that were perfectly executed. Watching Jake’s creative mind at work was an absolute pleasure; his passion and creativity are truly awe-inspiring. Working with them was a delight. AMAZING! Jake and his team were just amazing to work with! Creative, kind and caring so everyone enjoyed the experience! After being engaged for over 1.5 years, I just couldn’t seem to be able to commit to a photographer. That is, until I was given the name of Cadence of Grace. From the first messages exchanged, I knew that Jake & Kristin were passionate about their work (as if it wasn’t already apparent enough through their website & Instagram). I had a phone consult with them and after the first 10 minutes, it was seriously like talking to friends. Everything was so genuine. Going into our engagement photo session in October, I knew that my fiancé & I were a little camera shy. However, it took literally no time at all for Jake to make us feel comfortable and confident. He is so willing to do whatever necessary to capture amazing photos and is so creative, while remaining organized and professional. We had such a great time! We received our engagement photos less than a month after the photoshoot (thanks to Jake’s serious dedication) & we are absolutely blown away. I am so confident in my decision to go through Cadence of Grace. I cannot even begin to imagine how amazing our wedding photos will be next year! Highly, highly recommend!

Throw any doubts aside because I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with Cadence of Grace!!! My first time ever getting photos professionally taken and Jacob made us feel so comfortable and gave us great direction at our engagement shoot. He will capture all your best angles trust me! We know we made the right choice for our wedding and are so excited for the big day!! They are super accomodating and easy to work with. We also got super creative and brought carved pumpkin heads for fun! It was honestly a blast.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our packages include Engagement Shoots! We are willing to create custom packages. We offer TWO editing styles: 1.) “Bright and Airy” 2.) “Timeless and Classic” Also - we are willing to mix both to create a salt and pepper gallery!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here are the general steps: 1.) Potential customer identified. 2.) Package brochure is sent (including a detailed summary of all service provided) 3.) An initial consult is scheduled and conducted 4.) An official proposal with a contract is written with in 24 hours and delivered via email for signing and countersigning. 5.) Payment of the retainer is made - this solidifies the booking 6.) The complimentary engagement shoot is scheduled and conducted 7.) Engagement shoot photos delivered via online gallery ASAP so invitations and save the dates can be sent 8.) Additional consultations added on a case by case basis. (Anything from vows to the timeline of the day to wedding inspired in general) 9.) One month out final consult as we ensure all details are clear - everything about locations timeline and shots. 10.) Final scout of location conducted 11.) Wedding day 🎉 CRUSHED! 12.) Deliver photos through online gallery within 30 days (including all touch ups and edits) 13.) Follow up one week later to ensure expectations met or exceeded and client is satisfied! If yes - Job complete!

After 15+ years of being involved in weddings in other capacities (i.e planner, officiant, decorator and pre-marital counselor), we found a passion for being behind the camera and delivering beautiful images that capture moments that would otherwise be lost to time! Since picking up a camera for the first time many years ago, we have spent countless hours taking classes to refine our craft. We’ve studied from a place of photographic composition, graphic arts design, social media marketing and even large scale broadcast experience. Even as of recently - within the last month - we have invested 100’s of dollars taking classes to refine and develop our editing process in Lightroom to deliver the best possible images to our clients.
