Jerry tutored my daughter in Alg. 1 and also helped her to prepare for the SSAT and High school placement tests. She placed into Alg 2 Honors as a freshman and was very well prepared for her class; she currently has an A average. Her SSAT math scored improved dramatically after working with Jerry. He is very approachable , flexible, and professional. He was quick to establish a rapport with my daughter and was able to readily identify her strengths and weakness and adapt his approach accordingly. I would highly recommend Jerry for any type of Math preparation/tutoring.

Jerry helped my daughter with math and prepped her on Math for SATs. He totally relates with the kids as he is a local HS teacher and knows the excuses they all use! He is funny too! She was much more comfortable with math after her sessions with Jerry- highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees: When a client contracts with me for Math Test Prep, the purchase of recommended test booklet may be required. If it is a booklet that I do not have, then the purchase of test booklet for my use will be required. Discounts: A lesson payment discount will be provided for the purchase of future prepaid lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client chooses to contract with me for Math Tutoring or Test Prep help, I like to talk with the client about their interests and objectives before the first lesson to make sure that I can be of help. From this discussion, a lesson plan is developed and agreed upon. After each subsequent lesson, modifications to our plan are discussed and agreed upon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Mathematics with a Minor in Secondary Education and Music. I have a Massachusetts (Grades 7 - 12) Teaching Certification in Mathematics.
