Introduction

I provide piano lessons at my studio/home, online via zoom and FaceTime platforms, rarely at students' homes. I've developed an online recorded lessons platform that teaches young students the basics of music and (proper) piano playing in particular. I have 20+ years' teaching experience of all levels and ages. I have great references from students and parents (not to mention 5 complete music degrees). A lot of my students are taking ABRSM exams, grades 4 through Diploma Certificates (just in 2024 in grades 7 and 8 four students), many participate in local festivals and competitions. Some of my past students are winners of local and international competitions, yet most of my students play piano because they love it and want to learn without planning to pursue music as a career. I also perform solo recitals, chamber music concerts and concertos with orchestra. I always have repertoire to play and can provide program suggestions. Received "Best of 2015" on Thumbtack for lessons in Medford.

Anastasia is absolutely a wonderful piano teacher. She always comes on time and with full of energy; focuses on developing good technique, which is a really important aspect of learning music. My son is an advanced student and he has a lot of respect for her. He has been enjoying these lessons to the fullest. We hope to continue lessons with her for a long time.

Anastasia is such a good teacher. She is patient and really drills into the very detail of the music. She talks about how to use pedal, how to use different skills and ways of practice to overcome the weakness of fingers, how to play according to the notations by composers, etc. She also teaches that we should open up our ears and listen to music. She really helps with improving the skills and understanding the music.

I recently retired and now have time for piano. Anastasia is a very gifted and patient teacher. She is able to meet me at my current piano skill level and teaches me alot about the technical aspect of playing, She is most accomodating to my selected pieces both classical and modern and my fluctuating travel schedule. I have my lessons in her music room in West Medford MA. I would highly recommend her to an adult student of piano. Maureen C.

Anastasia was amazing. She played beautifully at our wedding. We provided her with sheet music for some songs that were special to us and she played them beautifully. The guests at our wedding loved her and we did too! I highly recommend her for any event.

Anastasia is an excellent piano teacher! We started our daughter in lessons when she was four years old. Anastasia helped my daughter very quickly feel comfortable with playing, with finger positioning, and with reading musical notes. Our daughter has made constant progress and really gets along with Anastasia, who has the perfect mix of patience and determination for teaching young children. I highly recommend her (not just for young children but for all ages)!

The pricing depends on the length of the lesson and location. I offer discount for longer lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know a new student is to learn more about his/her personality and character. Some students come with a clear goal for their lessons, some not -- we are to work together to set the goals and achieve them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My work is my life. I've been playing piano since I was four. I have five completed degrees in piano performance and a resume filled with major venues I performed at. I continue to gain more experience as a teacher and concert pianist and I learn new music all the time.
