I have been tutoring high school students for almost 15 years in everything from Algebra to Calculus and Statistics. I have a Masters Degree in Mathematics from UMass Lowell. I use graphing calculators and Math software to help students understand the concepts. I am sure I can you help improve your grades and understanding of Math. I have always loved mathematics. I get great satisfaction in helping students understand difficult concepts.

My daughter has been tutored by Jim for a couple of months now, and he helped her immensely. Jim is friendly , supportive and patient. He’s fully committed to helping improve my daughter’s math Skills and he is a knowledgeable tutor. Jim tutored me in statistics and not only is he very knowledgeable, but knows the concepts so well, he has the ability to explain and simplify them. He was a great help to me with this class that was required, as I tend to be more of a history type person. He is very professional, knows the material, but more important to me, could explain the material so that it was understandable. I ended up doing well in my class because of Jim. Plus he was a great price, and he often spent more than an hour with me, but only charged me for the hour. I highly recommend JIm (Sully's Math Tutoring).

I am working through an intense MBA program while working a full time job and have a one year old at home. It has been a while since I finished my undergrad so I had not been around math for a long time and I was required to take a statistics for business course. Because of other responsibilities I was not able to keep up with the readings and started falling behind. I was in way over my head and was thinking of dropping the course until I met Jim. He did an outstanding job breaking down advanced concepts and explaining them to me in simplified terms and getting me caught up to speed. He also helped give me a refresher on the basic functions of a TI-84 graphing calculator. He was more affordable than any Tudor I’ve come across. He simply enjoys what he does and from the beginning I was comfortable working with him and it was clear to me that he is not just in it for the money. My daughter Elena was struggling with her Geometry honor class as freshman in High school. She was involved in an after school program at her current school a few days a week. However, this did not help to improve her grades and we decided to find extra help with a tutor. We ran into Mr. Sullivan while he was tutoring another student and asked him for help. Since then, Elena has been advancing in her geometry class and her grades are now A+ for quizzes and quarter tests.
