FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been recording and producing music since 1990, credits include co-writer and producer of the #1 single "Summer Girls", graduate of Berklee College of Music, performer and guitar instructor.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of my clients bring a music file or "instrumental track" they have to voice their song over, Typically a 3-4 hour session we can record all the vocal parts and they leave with a mix and master of the final Song. Also some clients create tracks at home or sometimes record their vocals at home as well, they bring the files to me to add a quality mix/processing of their tracks and Master, I am happy to work with you at any stage of the recording process to achieve the highest quality for the best budget.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When comparing hourly prices also keep in mind how skilled the engineer is and the quality of the vocal room and recording equipment. Many clients have told me they have worked at cheaper studios but it take twice the time to finish the project and still not the same quality as working at a professional studio. If you are recording Pop or R&B make sure your engineer is a musician who can help with harmony, proper melody structure and how to tune a vocal correctly if desired.
