Brad is very easy to work with and did a great job creating a relaxed work environment which really helped put me at ease for my first time recording. He provided suggestions along the way and worked in a focused and fast manner. I was very pleased with the end results and have plans to work with Brad again. Thank you Brad. Much appreciated.

My son (16) has a music background but had never recorded voice or produced music with a professional. Brad has vast experience, and yet was also able to provide a warm and open setting that was a positive experience for both of us.

Details: 13 - 17 years old • Singing only (pre-recorded instrumentals) • Hip-hop / Rap • 1 track • 5 minutes or fewer • $200 - $300 • Morning (9am - noon) • Late afternoon (3 - 6pm) • Early afternoon (noon - 3pm) • Evening (after 6pm)

Considering someone of his pedigree and resume, I highly recommend Brad's services. I honestly hardly ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so since I would be doing a disservice to other artists looking to get some quality recording, mixing and mastering done. Brad produced the majority of my first album and I was more than pleased with the final product. Needless to say, I will continue using his expertise. What i appreciate the most are: his reliability, his efficiency and professionalism. Please check out my new single "Letter", which Brad has produced himself of course, as a testament to the quality of his work: http://youtu.be/-Itm-sJ_0bU -Yves Bruno

BKY MUSIC aka Brad has been tantamount in my career as a Hip Hop/R&B artist. Most of our working titles under Big Underground Music Publishing/Under The Hill Music Publishing have landed numerous placements over the past 10+ years on both cable/major television networks. BKY MUSIC has, (In my opinion), proven to be an independent leader in the music industry, (and I say this not because we've shared years of success as a writing team); but because Brad really has the ear, patience and flexibility that 'spect-jobs' require. Here's a couple if examples of the types of songs In collaboration with BKY MUSIC Brad in the past that have ultimately led to placement slots. PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG cued on Blue Mountain State (Series - Party Scene) http://youtu.be/fIB8DE3lrkQ SOON AS I GET HOME cued on THE FOSTER'S (Final Season - Love Scene) http://youtu.be/fgVzQyVHwGo Overall, I give a five star rating for BKY MUSIC as his workmanship, solid business practices and quick turn around time makes him the go to guy for any gig, (large or small). FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been recording and producing music since 1990, credits include co-writer and producer of the #1 single "Summer Girls", graduate of Berklee College of Music, performer and guitar instructor.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Many of my clients bring a music file or "instrumental track" they have to voice their song over, Typically a 3-4 hour session we can record all the vocal parts and they leave with a mix and master of the final Song. Also some clients create tracks at home or sometimes record their vocals at home as well, they bring the files to me to add a quality mix/processing of their tracks and Master, I am happy to work with you at any stage of the recording process to achieve the highest quality for the best budget.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When comparing hourly prices also keep in mind how skilled the engineer is and the quality of the vocal room and recording equipment. Many clients have told me they have worked at cheaper studios but it take twice the time to finish the project and still not the same quality as working at a professional studio. If you are recording Pop or R&B make sure your engineer is a musician who can help with harmony, proper melody structure and how to tune a vocal correctly if desired.
