- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in transparent pricing. I typically offer a free initial consultation and quote so there are no surprises. My prices reflect both the quality of materials and the craftsmanship I provide. From time to time, I offer discounts on larger projects or for repeat clients. I’m also upfront about any additional fees—like disposal of old tiles or special order materials—so customers know exactly what to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a friendly consultation to understand the customer’s needs, style preferences, and budget. From there, I provide a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, recommended materials, timeline, and costs. Once we settle on a plan, I schedule the project, prepare the site, and give regular updates throughout. Finally, I make sure everything is cleaned up and that the customer is completely satisfied before wrapping up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed an apprenticeship under a seasoned tile installer and also took various courses in design and construction safety. Over the years, I’ve attended professional workshops to stay current on new tile materials, layout techniques, and industry best practices. This blend of hands-on training and continuous learning helps me deliver top-notch results.
