Wedding is an important event in life. During pandemic situation my husband (then my boyfriend) & myself decided to tie knots in United States. The decision was tough. However, support from our friends made it possible to an extent that we thought it was the BEST! Major contribution was from Ritika Vyas who took responsibility of organizing the 4 day event. She patiently arranged for all rituals that are part of a Big Fat Indian Wedding, including: Haldi, Mehendi, Barat, Fera & Grah Pravesh. It was an amazing experience working with her & everyone loved her work. With just 2 weeks of notice she was to able to manage everything. Her energy is outstanding, with calm & positive presence. With her style of work I was rest assured that my wedding is going to be the BEST. I am short on words to describe number of areas she took care of. Will try my best to point out most here. Prior to Wedding: 1. ARRANGEMENTS: She gathered, boxed & labelled items required for each ritual per day. Ready to go! 2. GESTURES: Like all other girls, I had a dream to wear beautiful dresses during my wedding. Ritika Vyas stood by me like an elder sister & helped me pick colors for each day. Small things, but made BIG DIFFERENCE to a bride! 3. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals become important when we do not have sense of music 😉 Once again, Ritika Vyas took charge & made us all rehearse, which turned out to be so much fun & made us look good during the actual day. During wedding: 1. DECORATION: BEAUTIFUL, INNOVATIVE & COLORFUL. Not too much, not too less. Each day had a different style with great use of space & attention paid to minute details. 2. MUSIC: No wedding is complete without music. Big thanks Ritika Vyas as she came up with a list of beautiful, pleasant & happy songs for each day. 3. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS: Considering that our wedding took place in a townhouse with an audience of 30-35 people, everyone was seated comfortably with a proper view of altar. Even with so many people the room appeared to be spacious. Post Wedding: Ritika Vyas made sure that I was welcomed into my new life with love & compassion - "Grah Pravesh" I never imagined our wedding to be so pure, full of love in absence of our parents & family. BIG SHOUT OUT to Ritika Vyas and her team (Nishtha Mathur Chitrangda Jain Apoorva Verma & all the boys) for giving us such a WONDERFUL experience that we will cherish our entire lives.
