When I requested a quote to take out my old railings and put in new railings, it took a few days to respond. When they did it was as quick as sending them a picture of what was there to what railings I wanted installed.
They came over and did the measurements; 30 percent of the payment was due at that time. They do not take credit cards. Then they let me know when they would be able to do the install. The morning of the install I reached out to ask what time they would be here and was told they would not be able to make it because a part was not ready.
On the new installation date they were about half an hour late. They guys looked professional and were polite. They got to work and when they were done I didn’t realize my payment wasn’t covering repairs from taking out the old railings. Parts of my old railing were left behind and cement they rinsed out dryer up on my newly tarred driveway.
I texted them the next day and asked if they didn’t do repairs from taking out the old railings if they could come back and take out the rest of the railings so that I could do the patching myself. I also told them about the cement drizzle left behind in my driveway.
They responded promptly and said they would be back at 8 am and take care of it as well as another touch up coat for the railings. They showed up on time and again were very polite. They took the rest of the railing parts off the house and pressure washed the driveway.
Overall the new railings look great! I would hire them again, just make sure you ask and agree on what would be included or not included in the railing replacement price.
Final pictures reflect their installation and our own patching. “Railings of America” is a great small business I am glad to support!

We hired Rallings of America to build and install a section of wrought iron railling.
