Eric was recommended to me by a friend in 2020 and my dog has been working with him on a weekly basis ever since - it has been such a positive experience! My dog needed help with obedience and off-leash training with the e-collar and Eric gave me and my dog the tools we needed to curb behaviors and build new skills.
Eric is incredibly kind and flexible so scheduling has been very easy over the years!
I cannot recommend Eric enough!!!!

When we couldn’t find what motivated our dog Rocco to reliably respond to commands and recall, as well as walking appropriately on leash and not pulling, we were at a loss until we found Eric. Eric’s style of training that is based on cooperative play and not establishing dominance was the exact kind of training that was needed in order to get buy in from Rocco and motivate him. Eric taught us how to use play to make a connection with Rocco and establish a good relationship that motivated Rocco to want to listen to us. Each time that we did private training sessions with Eric, we would look at the clock and realize we had gone over the allotted time but because Eric truly cares about making a difference, he wouldn’t end the session until we reached a good stopping point. Eric is hands on, models exactly what he is teaching you and then has you practice the skills to give you feedback. He also knows how important it is to have the skills he has taught your dog generalize to the owners and will frequently check in to make sure things are going well with Rocco. Eric is not only incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about his field of work, but truly loves what he does and it shows with how excited Rocco gets every week when Eric comes to get him. My partner and I often joke that if Rocco had to choose between us and Eric, he would most likely choose Eric!

Training with Eric was a game changer for us! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog. He is very knowledgeable, reliable and great to work with.
Our story- We were really struggling with our adolescent rescue pup, Kona. We tried group classes, anxiety medication, and online game-based training, but we couldn’t gain control of her barking, anxiety behaviors and leash reactivity. Walks were becoming very stressful for all of us, and we were losing hope of having the kind of dog we could take on long walks and fun outdoor adventures.
Enter Eric. He took the time to get to know us and have our shy pup get comfortable with him before diving into the training. After just a few sessions, we had a new way to communicate with Kona and stop the progression of her unwanted behaviors. At the end of 2 weeks, we were able to start enjoying our walks and start taking her on outdoor adventures again. She is also off the meds!
We are so thankful that Eric was recommended to us and we will continue to recommend him to our friends and neighbors!

Eric is amazing! He’s really helped me be a better and more confident dog owner. My dog Poppy absolutely adores him and has learned so much from his lessons, both with and without me. He accomplishes a lot with her through learning by play and really tapping into what engages her most. I cannot recommend Eric enough!
